It’s been over a century, since the women fraternities have came into being. Although, such organizations do not enjoy any specific motive, still they aim at spreading awareness and importance of education.

Kappa Kappa Gamma is the oldest among such Greek set-ups that follows a program which promotes and allows literacy throughout the nation. The organization features Golden Key membership badge.

Following this, Kappa Alpha Theta (???), (also known as Theta) came into existence. This is an international fraternity for women which was founded on January 27, 1870 at DePauw University.

At present, the organization has over 125 chapters at universities and colleges spread all across the United States and Canada. It has a total initiated membership of about 210,000. The academic ambition of the Fraternity works at the attainment of the highest scholarship. Also, the social aim is to exercise the widest sway for good. Its moral aim rests with spreading the standard of love among its members.
